The Flop is an iPhone app for tracking home poker games. This policy explains what data the app handles and what it does not.
Nothing. The Flop does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on any server. Everything you enter (leagues, players, games, photos, stats) stays on your device.
All game data is held in the app's local database on your iPhone. If you have iCloud Backup enabled in iOS settings, Apple may include the app's data in your encrypted iCloud Backup. The app itself does not send data to iCloud or any other server.
The Flop offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock additional features. Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs how that transaction data is handled and is available at apple.com/legal/privacy.
If you choose to add a photo as a league or player avatar, the photo is selected via Apple's PhotosPicker and stored locally in the app's database on your device. The photo never leaves your iPhone. The app does not request access to your full photo library; Apple's picker exposes only the photo you select.
The app may ask for permission to send local notifications for blind-level changes during a live game. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. No notification content is sent to any server.
None. The app contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting services, no advertising frameworks, and no tracking of any kind.
The Flop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children, or from anyone else, because we do not collect data.
If this policy changes, an updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will also be highlighted in the app's release notes.
Questions about this policy can be sent to support@theflop.app.
